First and foremost, we at Gaffney Funeral Home are ALWAYS available to help you and your family..
The State of Washington has clarified Proclamation 20-25 regarding funerals during Phase II of the reopening plan. Governor Inslee recognizes the critical role that funeral, embalmer and cemetery licensees play during this unprecedented time. Licensed funeral homes and cemeteries may conduct funeral services in a funeral home or graveside under the following conditions:
1. Indoor occupancy is limited to 20 percent or 30 people, whichever is less, if and only if six feet of physical distancing between households can be achieved. Outdoor ceremonies are limited to 30 people, and at least six feet of physical distancing between households is required.
2. Only ceremonies are permitted, and ceremonies must follow all other provisions of the "Religious and Faith-based Organization COVID-19 Requirements."
3. Receptions are prohibited.
PLEASE KNOW: This does not affect our ability to serve families in their time of need. We are allowed to host funeral services following the guidelines in Governor Inslee’s proclamation and recommendations made by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We remain available by telephone at 253-572-6003 24 hours a day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
