Gertrude Kathryn Riebli “Kathy”, 91, born in 1926 in Puyallup, Washington. Kathryn passed, away on Sunday December 31st, 2017 with her daughter Donna at her side. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Gentile and Francis Gentile. She was preceded in death by her husband Art Riebli. Volunteering suited her servant heart. She was passionate about helping people less fortunate than herself; she devoted countless hours volunteering at All Saints Catholic Church, Madigan Army Hospital and St. Francis House.
Kathy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, such as chatting with friends and family, shopping and watching Pittsburg Steelers and Notre Dame Football. She was a modern woman always ahead of her time in how she lived her life. She was strong and no- nonsense. She got things done. Kathy enjoyed cooking and travel. She valued family, traveling to Sicily to find family members and throughout the years traveled many times to spend time with them. She shared her love of travel, especially to Hawaii with her significant other Michael. She added an element of style to all that she did. She was at the forefront of fashion. She enjoyed dressing stylishly sharing her fashion-sense with her daughter.
Kathryn was a member of the Swiss Ladies Society and a Eucharistic Minister at All Saints Catholic Church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother whose greatest passion was helping others. She leaves us rich in memories.
