Sally (Lombardo) Luppino

Sally Luppino passed away peacefully at home on June 30, 2021. Sally was born December 17, 1928 in Tacoma to Frank and Frances Lombardo. She graduated from Lincoln High School. In May of 1949 she married her childhood sweetheart Nat Luppino. Together they started and ran Northwest Fruit and Produce, Inc. in 1961 and, in addition to raising their family, built a successful business. She enjoyed bowling, travelling, watching sports and lunches with her grade school girlfriends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 70 years and is survived by her children Terry (Melody) Luppino, Natalie Luppino, Marty Luppino and SallyAnn (Clive) Nicholson, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

We would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers Patience and Corrie for their loving care of our mom over the last years.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday July 15, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 1403 S. Ainsworth, Tacoma, WA 98405 with a reception following.
