Ramona Rose Bostwick

Ramona Rose Bostwick, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2024. She was in her home in Puyallup surrounded by her family. Ramona was born January 10, 1934 in Chapman, Nebraska. She moved to Washington with her family at a very young age and was raised in the Puyallup valley with her 7 brothers and sisters. She was a graduate of St Leo's High School. She then married John T. Bostwick in 1954 and they raised their 5 children Mark (Lisa) Bostwick, Dana (Naomi) Bostwick, Sara (Steve) Puryear, Rena Bostwick (Rick), John (Paige) Bostwick in Tacoma. She was preceded in death by her husband John T. Bostwick and her son Mark Bostwick. She is survived by 2 brothers, Eugene Pospisil and Jerry Pospisil, 4 of her children, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ramona was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved to bowl, garden, knit and bake bread and on occasion she loved to take trips to the casino with family and friends. Ramona worked in catering at the Tacoma Dome for 30 years. She loved her work and made many long time friends. She saw many of those friends at her 90th birthday party. She was beautiful, kind and compassionate and will be deeply missed by those who knew her and loved her. She fought a good fight and she WON! She is now celebrating that victory in heaven - we miss you mom, more than words can say.

Celebration of her life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tacoma on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Reception will follow in parish hall.
