Marian Yaconetti

Marian Yaconetti - Born November 26, 1928, passed away in her sleep November 7, 2021. 

Born Marian Garitone, she was raised in the small town of Mullan in northern Idaho where she lived in a loving world of family and community. She met Frank Yaconetti on a visit to Tacoma and they later married. 

Mom's entire life was dedicated to caring for her family and home. She saw to her family's happiness with a great sense of love, understanding and humor. A long time member of St. Rita's Parish, her strong faith in God was evident by her actions throughout her life. She was a true testimony to the strength of the human spirit, putting faith in God and the belief in the hereafter.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary, brothers Gene and Domnick, sisters Rose, Julia, and Amelia; and Frank, her husband of 75 years who recently passed. She is survived by her sons, John (Alex) and Bruce (Cheri) and numerous nieces and nephews. A first class woman, wife, mother and friend.

Viewing Monday, November 22, 2021, 1:00 – 6:00 pm with a Rosary to follow, Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 11:00 am both at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cloisters.
