Mable M. Lewis (Marie)

Marie passed away in Lakewood, Washington three days before her 98th birthday. Born to Lloyd and Lottie Waggoner in Greenfield, Indiana but spent most of her married life in Tacoma, Washington.

She was spunky, positive and full of life and would tell fantastic stories of growing up with her two brothers and two sisters. Marie was a role model and a big influence in everyone’s life. She was strong physically and emotionally.

Marie enjoyed just about everything including camping, yard work but mostly being with family and entertaining grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Keith Lewis and son William Reitz and is survived by six children, Laverna Chamberlain, Lois Herbert (Don), Guelda Messina (John), Russ Lewis (Pam), Dennis Lewis (Rosie), Greg Lewis (Tina), twenty-five grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

Special thanks to the Brook House in Lakewood for their loving and compassionate care for the last few years of Marie’s life.

Celebration of life will be at a later date due to the pandemic.
