Lisa Fengler Vincent Obituary

Lisa Marie Fengler was born June, 28, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington to Kenney and Patricia Fengler - joining older brother Kurt. Within a few years, she and her brother welcomed siblings Juliet, Margo, and Matthew. Lisa attended St. Leo’s Catholic Girls School where she began to cultivate friendships that lasted for a lifetime.

Lisa attended Clover Park Technical School after high school, majoring in offset repo-graphics. Her long creative career began in Seattle shortly after completing the course. Lisa was well-known in the Seattle television market and fondly remembered for her work ethic, creative flair, and her contagious laugh.  She worked at KCPQ-TV and KOMO-TV, working her way to the position of Art Director at both places.  Lisa’s talent also brought her to San Francisco where she worked for CBS affiliate KPIX. Her professional achievements were numerous, including two Emmys and a position on the Board of the Broadcast Design Awards.

After many years in television, Lisa took her tremendous skill set and changed her path. For the past 11 years, Lisa devoted her talent to Selden’s Designer Home Furnishings as Marketing Director. On the side, Lisa owned and operated a small catering company she named “Loving Spoonfuls.”

While working at KOMO, Lisa met the love of her life Paul Vincent, marrying on March 21, 1998 in Paul’s hometown, Leavenworth, WA. In the past several years, Lisa and Paul have made their home in NE Tacoma – close to many of Lisa’s family members.

Lisa loved to cook. She was the first to reach out to someone in need. She found the best in every person she met – and took her role as older sister, daughter, aunt, and wife very seriously. She doted on her beloved cats – Thumper, Fiona, and Buzz. She loved all-things Disney and spent many joyous vacation days with Paul soaking up all the magic that ‘the happiest place on earth’ had to offer.

True to Lisa’s indomitable spirit and her relentless quest, she found the best in every day. Lisa spent her final weeks visiting with friends and family under the care of her husband & close friends. Lisa passed quietly at home with her husband Paul and Kirstan by her side, Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Kenney and her brother, Kurt. She is survived by her husband Paul, mother Pat, sisters Juliet, Margo (Jim), and brother Matt (Denise), and sister-in-law Karen (Joe), nine nieces and nephews, Kirstan, Keegan, Joshua, Jordan, Jackson, Wyatt, Maizey, LeRoy and Ava, as well as ten great nieces and nephews Alex, Peter, Nolan, Max, Marlon, Braxton, Blaze, Brooklyn, Elon and Rowan.

At a future date, Lisa will have the celebration of life she so richly deserves.
