Linda Marie Musser

Our loving mother, Linda Marie (Kaelin) Musser, 78, longtime resident of Gig Harbor, passed away on November 3, 2021 at Hospice House following a yearlong battle with cancer. Linda Musser joined her beloved husband Bill (2016) in heaven. Born July 21, 1943 to Edward and Alberta Kaelin, Linda graduated from Fife High School in 1961 and attended Central Washington University. Linda married her high school sweetheart, Bill Musser in 1964. One of Linda’s favorite things to do was play the piano and organ. Growing up, she played the organ for her local parish in Fife, St. Martin of Tours. Her grandchildren always loved when she played at Christmas time as she could play anything they requested without sheet music.

Linda worked at Tacoma Community College, ensuring her children could receive a Catholic education. Linda loved her family and would move mountains for them making sure every need was fulfilled. She was generous to all who knew her. She was an amazing cook and loved having her family over for Sunday dinners. She loved gardening and enjoyed her beautiful hanging baskets. She will be dearly missed.

Linda is survived by daughter Marie (Rob) Wenman, daughter Lauri (Tim) Flynn, son Jim Musser (Jen Martin), grandchildren Matt (Shannon), Abby, Alex, and Cameron Wenman, Taylor, Jake, and Colby Flynn, Grace Musser, and Megan Martin, great-grandchildren Addelyn, Aaron, and Andrew Wenman, and numerous other close relatives and friends.

Rosary will be held 5pm Sunday, November 14th, at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 S Yakima Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405. Services will be held 9am Monday, November 15th, at St. Charles Borromeo, 7112 S 12th St., Tacoma, WA 98465.
