Leo passed away peacefully on January 4th at his home of over 60 years in Tacoma.
Leo was a loving husband and beloved father and grandfather who could usually be found 'puttering around' in his garage or traveling across the country in his motor home.
Leo joined the Air Force at the age of 19 and 6 years later married the love of his life Rose. He served in the Korean War and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1969. After his military service he worked for and retired from the City of Tacoma.
Born to Frank and Constance Rogacki in Leavenworth, KS he is survived by children Thomas Rogacki, Kathleen Peterson-Rogacki, Margaret (Peggy) Jones, and James Rogacki , 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Leo was predeceased by his wife Rose ('Sweets') and sons Robert and Kevin.
Rosary will be held Sunday January 22nd at 4:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday January 23rd at Pope St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Tacoma.
Leo will be interred with his 'Sweets' at Tahoma National Cemetery.
