Bernadette Catherine Robinson

Bernadette Catherine Robinson. Born Feb. 7th, 1924. Called home on Jan. 15, 2022. Born in Tacoma, WA to Benjamin and Hazel Knelleken.

Attended Catholic school at Holy Rosary Catholic School. She attended St. Joseph's School of Nursing and graduated. Joined the Nursing Corps (World War II Cadet) School Sept. 1, 1942, entered the Corps on Sept. 1, 1943, Graduated in 1945, and served until 1948.

She met and married Charles C. Robinson in Alaska. She became the mother of one child, Kim. While in Alaska, she spent 3 1/2 years in Heidelburg, Germany with her husband and child. She returned with her family to Tacoma in 1962. She started working at St. Joseph Hospital where she served for 27 years. Bernadette worked at St. Ann's Convent for 3 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents Ben and Hazel, her two brothers Gerald and Jack, and her grandson William.
