Sister Nancy O’Reilly, OP (Mary Clement), a Tacoma Dominican Sister, died peacefully in Tacoma. WA on May 7, 2020. She was a native of County Galway, Ireland.
Following her profession of vows, Sister Nancy served as teacher, pastoral associate and health care worker in several dioceses including Seattle, WA; San Bernardino and San Diego, CA; and St. Augustine, Florida.
Because of COVID19 restrictions, there was a private burial with the Tacoma Dominican Community on August 19 and a Memorial Mass at St. Francis of Assisi, Burien on October 5, 2020.
Memorial donations may be made to the Dominican Sisters Retirement Fund, 935 Fawcett Ave. Tacoma, WA 98402.
