Russell Leo Fulp

Russell Leo Fulp, age 63, was called to his heavenly home on November 16, 2019 in Anaheim , CA , having suffered a heart attack.

Born:  October 5, 1956, in Chester Illinois

Russ attended St. Patrick Grade School , St. Leo Grade School and

Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma; and graduated from Fife High School.

Russ was gifted at building engines for race cars and race boats.  He owned

and operated a shop in Anaheim, where he became recognized in the area for

his quality craftsmanship.   Friends considered him to be a kind soul,

considerate of others.  He was an organ donor.

Russ is survived by his mother, Kathleen Schlumpf, sister Maria (Keith) Bassett,

sisters-in-law Roxanne (Frank) Fulp and Tracie (Jon) Schlumpf; two uncles and

several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father, Robert;

and brothers Frank Fulp and Jon Schlumpf.

Private burial took place at Calvary Cemetery in December, 2019.  Memorial Mass will

be offered at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church, 1403 S Ainsworth, Tacoma, at 10 a.m.,

January 25, 2020; Rosary preceding Mass at 9:30 a.m.; reception following Mass in church hall.
