Phillip (Morris/Joe) was born to Mary Pearl and Thomas Valette Proctor in Cedarville, MD on May 9, 1933. As a young man, he enlisted and served 23 years in the Air Force followed by 13 years in civil service. He was married to the kindest of women, Patricia Earline Proctor, for 52 and 1/2 years and together with their five children they were stationed in various locations throughout the United States. He was an Honorary Lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.
Phillip (Morris/Joe) is survived by 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grand children, 1 great great grandson, 2 sons-in-law, 6 siblings and 3 in-laws along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was lovingly cared for at Pinewoods Adult Family Home by owners Patrick and Maureen along with Kate and staff for the past 6 years. He enjoyed the weekly visits from his Eucharistic Angel Cindy and entertaining visitors in his peaceful home on the lake.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Phillip Maurice Proctor.
