Louise Fay Levy was born on May 18, 1937, in Portland, Oregon, to Robert and Anita Mermelstein. She lived a life rooted in love, creativity, and deep appreciation for both people and the world around her.

Louise was many things to many people — a devoted wife, loving daughter and sister, cherished mother, proud grandmother, and joyful great-grandmother. Above all, she treasured her family and held them at the center of her life.

She is survived by her children: sons Bruce Levy, Allen Levy, and Louis Levy, and daughter Alyssa Levy. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Alexa, Rachel, and Sarah, and her treasured great-granddaughter, Asha.

For the past 35 years, Louise proudly called Tacoma, Washington her home. She was an accomplished home remodeler and interior designer, turning houses into warm, welcoming spaces filled with character and beauty. As the owner of L&L Renovations, she brought vision, craftsmanship, and heart to her work, leaving a lasting mark on every project she touched.

Louise found immense joy in nature and had a deep love for all animals. She delighted in cooking for her family, expressing her love through meals shared together. She had a special passion for antiques and could often be found striking up conversations, eager to learn and share stories about their history. A lover of travel, she felt most at peace by the ocean, especially along the Oregon coast, a place that always held her heart.

Louise will be remembered for her warmth, curiosity, creativity, and the fierce love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
