In Loving Memory of Jennifer P. Greco

MA, LMFT LMHC April 30, 1958 – August 28, 2026

Jennifer P. Greco, age 68, passed away on August 28, 2026.

Born on April 30, 1958, in Tacoma, Washington, Jennifer lived a life defined by compassion, service, adventure, and an extraordinary ability to make others feel valued and loved. She graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 1976, earned her degree from Saint Martin's College in 1981, completed her master’s degree at Pacific Lutheran University in 1986, and continued her education at the University of Washington.

On November 17, 1984, Jennifer married the love of her life, Don Greco. Together they built a life centered on family, friendships, and shared adventures.

Jennifer was a devoted wife, beloved mother, proud grandmother, trusted mentor, and cherished friend. She is survived by her husband, Don Greco; her daughter, MacKenzie; her treasured grandchildren, Jamisen and Monroe; her mother, Patricia; her brother, James; her sisters, Lynda and Kandi; and her sister in law, Deanne.

Jennifer dedicated her professional career to helping others as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor. As an AAMFT Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor, she provided counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She possessed a remarkable gift for listening and understanding, helping countless individuals navigate life’s challenges with hope and confidence. To many, Jennifer was more than a therapist — she was a mentor, advocate, and source of strength.

Jennifer was dedicated and loyal to her work, her clients, and her interns. Over the course of her long and distinguished career, she trained dozens of interns who went on to become highly skilled and compassionate therapists. Their contributions to children, adolescents, and families have been immense and immeasurable — due in large part to the clinical expertise, mentorship, and unwavering support Jennifer poured into each of them.

Those who knew Jennifer will remember her vibrant spirit and love of life. She embraced every opportunity for adventure and found joy in traveling, shopping, art, and creating meaningful experiences with family and friends. Hawaii held a special place in her heart, offering a sense of peace, beauty, and renewal that reflected her own outlook on life.

Jennifer had an unmatched ability to make everyone feel special. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and sincere compassion touched all who crossed her path. Whether offering professional guidance, supporting a friend, or celebrating with family, she gave of herself wholeheartedly.

Even in death, Jennifer’s legacy of caring continues. Through the gift of cornea donation, she gave others the priceless ability to see the world anew — a final act of generosity that reflects the way she lived her life.

While Jennifer’s passing leaves an immeasurable void, her love, wisdom, laughter, and compassionate spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
