Hazel Agnes Gores

Hazel A. Gores at the age of 100, passed away peacefully into the Lord’s hands on July 26th, 2025. She was born October 5th, 1924 in Cando, North Dakota to Hans and Agatha Hansen. She was the third of 4 children. Brother Robert Hansen, sisters Elouise Lauinger and Mary Solseth have preceded Hazel in death.

Prior to marrying Raymond Gores in 1946, Hazel worked in the naval shipyards in Vancouver, WA. as a riveter and welder. She was a stay-at-home mom and a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Holy Cross Church and Altar Society for many years. Hazel was a talented seamstress sewing beautiful clothes, draperies, quilts and upholstered furniture.

Hazel was preceded in death by Raymond, her husband of 72 years. She is survived by her daughters Linda Johnson (Charles), Lois Cratsenberg (David) and son Terry Gores (Tammy), 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
