In Loving Memory of Dolores "Yaya" Cisneros
Born: December 11, 1928 – Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
Passed: July 3, 2025 - Tacoma, Washington
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores Cisneros—affectionately known as Yaya or Lola. A beloved sister, aunt, godmother, and friend, Dolores was known for her quiet strength, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to family and tradition.
She immigrated to the United States in 1957, settling in San Francisco, where she worked as a dedicated seamstress and caregiver. Though she never married, she touched countless lives with her love, kindness, and fierce loyalty.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Eucebia and Ignacio Cisneros, and fifteen siblings. She is survived by her sister, Maria Martha Cisneros, and numerous nieces and nephews who carry on her legacy.
Her memory will be cherished always.
Descanse en paz.
