Obituary Clyde Leonard Davis Clyde, age 81, was called home to the Lord on Sept. 30, 2005. Clyde was born Feb. 9, 1924 in Kansas City, MO. A loving husband of 43 years to wife Carol, a caring father to Wes (Debbie) Davis, Wanda (Dirk) Doppenberg, Lynn Stevens, Mark (Debbie) Stevens, Mike (Beckie) Davis, Melinda (Jerry) Simcox; he enjoyed being involved in the lives of his 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he served as an active member of the Legion of Mary and as a Eucharistic Minister. At the age of 15, Clyde was trained as a welder by the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a longtime employee of PACCAR and J M Martinac Shipbuilding Corp., from which he retired in 1985. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Patrick Building Fund, or a charity of your choice. Viewing is scheduled Tuesday, 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm, October 4, 2005 and Wednesday, 8:30 am, October 5, 2005, and a vigil will be held Wednesday, 7:00 pm at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel.
