Potential Positions and typical job functions include:

Funeral Director - Assist families in arranging appropriate funeral ceremonies; direct and coordinate funeral activities, including the initial transfer, funeral arrangement conference, visitation and ceremony. Must be licensed by State of Washington.

Embalmer - Care of deceased, embalming, cosmetizing, dressing and casketing and cremation. Must be licensed by State of Washington.

Funeral Associate - Act as attendant at ceremonies and visitations, including ushering, parking cars, transfer of flowers, pallbearer, vehicle driver and general housekeeping. No licensure required.

First Care Escort - Perform the initial transfer from place of death to funeral home and other general courier responsibilities. No licensure required.

Advance Planning Associate - Counsel individuals on the benefits of funeral preplanning. Must be licensed by State of Washington.
